Uptown Progressive Action is a grassroots, multi-ethnic organization of people in Washington Heights, Inwood and Marble Hill, deeply committed to advancing a progressive agenda by taking back our democracy from the billionaire class and making fundamental changes at the local, state and federal levels of our government.
UPA is a chapter of NYPAN – the New York Progressive Action Network – comprising over 30 chapters statewide.
UPA is affiliated with Our Revolution, the national group that came out of the Sanders campaign, and we work closely with a number of other progressive organizations.

Meetings
We have general meetings on the second Tuesday of every month at Our Savior’s Attonement, 178 Bennet Ave., from 7:30 – 9:30pm. All are welcome! During the pandemic, however, we are meeting via zoom instead.
